Growing up, I didn’t have the easiest childhood, However, I learned how to fight through adversity and it strengthened my character. Then, in the Scout Patrol, I found a new passion. There, I learned a lot about leadership and the wilderness and once I started working as a miner I fell in love with the mountain.
So, I decided to work as a porter. I’ve worked there for three years, earning little money and being treated quite badly.
In 2013 I finally received my certification as a mountain guide, and in the following years, I have led more than 100 successful tours, with people from all over the world, to the highest point of Africa. I met Josephat in 2014 and there we begin the project which now we call Xandro Adventure Tours as we both have the same idea and career. In 2016 we accomplished everything concerning the Registration of the Company and that’s when Xandro Adventure Tours was born,

Growing up in the beautiful Kilimanjaro Region in northern Tanzania, my parents always made sure that I appreciated our countrie’s beautiful nature and landscape. This has led me to develop a hunger for exploration and adventure, which I have been following in many domestic and foreign trips.
This hunger made me deviate from my profession as an Architectural Technician Engineer and join Mweka wildlife college and get the diploma of wildlife management, this quenches my thirsty as i become an experienced safari guide and earned my field certificate of tour guiding and leadership in 2013, Also i am a member of the Arusha birding tour club. Throughout my career, I have gathered immense experience in the Tanzania National Park system.
Later on, i find my friend Eliasi who has the same career as mine so we decided to do a project, that opening a tour company that is an opportunity for me to pursue different passions of mine, whilst doing something I can believe in. So we decided immediately drawn to it. Not only because I could work together with my friends Eliasi on an exciting project, whilst sharpening my skills in the area I’m interested in, but also because I genuinely believe, that this is an opportunity to help communities to build their own future.

Even as a small child, I was always very interested in the big wide world. I wondered how people in other countries live and cultivate their culture. Until I came of age, unfortunately, I hardly had the opportunity to explore my Country Tanzania by visiting the National Park. When I finished my apprenticeship, I went on a solo adventure for the first time and discovered my love for traveling.
Besides traveling, I enjoy my hobbies, I love mountaineering, I do weight training and I am often on the road in the Meru mountains, as a trekker. Professionally, I work as a Teacher in a Secondary school in Tanzania.
I am happy to work on Xandro Adventure Tours together with my friends, to offer our customers an unforgettable Tanzania experience and to promote more independence for local communities.

Emmanuel was born in Mbeya Tanzania and moved to Arusha more than ten years ago. Since then, he got his diploma of wildlife management and Mountaineering from Mweka wildlife collage and has worked in the tourism industry. Emmanuel has a lifetime of experience, not only as a mountaineer, but the entire Tanzania National Park system, Within the Kilimanjaro National Park.
He is happy to work as part of Xandro Adventure Tours and he managed to summit more than 125 times to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro with different clients.

Happyson is 27 years old and was born in the region near Kilimanjaro. Once he finished school, he moved to Arusha and started working as a porter. After four years he finally collected the money to get himself wildlife education to cherish his career. Since then, he got his diploma of wildlife management and Mountaineering from Mweka wildlife collage and has worked in the tourism industry. Happyson has a lifetime of experience. Today, he is a certified mountain guide and reached the summit of Kilimanjaro over 100 times.
